Panasonic is a market leader with a strong brand, quality products and great people. Our Home & Wellness Group currently has an opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager to join our team based in Macquarie Park.

In this position you will take ownership of Small Appliances categories and investigate opportunities in other home categories. You will undertake the necessary Product, Marketing and Sales Planning to deliver on the business sales, profit and inventory objectives. You will be responsible for evaluating the growth of the current range as well as identify the market potential for new products which will be available for the Australian market.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager will include:

• Product management of the Small Appliances portfolio and review opportunities in other home categories.
• Development and execution of marketing strategies for the responsible categories
• Accurate forecasting of inventory to achieve category targets
• Diagnosing market trends for these well-regarded products
• Developing strong working relationships with our partners and factories
• Purchase order and inventory management
• Coordination and negotiation of supply and pricing with manufacturing facilities

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in Appliances or Consumer Electronic strategic product marketing role
• Strong awareness of the white goods and small appliances market/s
• Strong representational skills to maximise relationships with factory and retailers
• Proven product management and inventory management experience
• Strong organisational skills with an analytical approach
• Ability to manage complex numerical and PSI (Purchases, Sales and Inventory)
• Experience in Consumer Experience Marketing (CX)
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• High level of Microsoft Excel skill
