The Marketing Coordinator will contribute to and support the Mobile Solutions Group in the planning, implementation, and administration of marketing campaigns. The core activities within this role will be a combination of day-to-day B2B marketing communication activities such as the co-ordination of trade and industry events, and supporting customer communications across various web, social, and digital platforms through content creation & delivery. A key aspect of the role will be to support sales teams to leverage both brand and marketing activities in a structured and standardised way. This will involve a strategic and tactical comprehension of the broader rugged computer market and processes to successfully align with company goals.
This role is part time, 3 days per week.
The key responsibilities we would trust you with:
- Support the Product Marketing, Sales and Service team with campaigns surrounding general advertising and promotional activities.
- Ongoing co-ordination of day-to-day activities in conjunction with the automated marketing platform and CRM, working closely with the Sales & Service team to develop a more comprehensive and holistic view of our customers, providing key stakeholders with marketing insights.
- Provide support in the development of digital assets for website, blog, social platforms, electronic newsletters, and other customer communications and sales material while working closely with the Corporate Communications team.
- Co-ordination of trade and industry events, virtual events such as webinars and exhibitions.
- Maintain a marketing calendar of campaigns and activities, providing regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Monthly communication reports summarising current and upcoming marketing campaigns, and analysis of campaign effectiveness.
The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing and/or Communications and/or Digital Marketing.
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in B2B Marketing Communications or related field.
- Strong skills in marketing communications, digital marketing, and social media communications (specifically B2B and Digital).
- Strong understanding of key communications channels including Web, CRM, Blogs/Social and eDM.
- Graphic design and content creation skills with familiarity with Adobe Creative suite or similar. Basic HTML skills will also be favourable.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent writing and editing skills across digital platforms, attention to detail and time management.
- Strong teamwork, work ethic and communications skills.
