Panasonic Australia is seeking a Technical Specialist to manage technical and warranty performance for consumer electronic products, drive continuous service improvement, and act as a subject matter expert for both technical and operational aspects across the product lifecycle.

This role supports service excellence and product quality by working closely with stakeholders in supply chain, customer service, and product management. This role is located at Panasonic Australia’s Macquarie Park Headquarters.

 

The key responsibilities we would trust you with:

  • Provide friendly technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat ensuring explanations are clear, solutions are accessible, and customers feel valued throughout the process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently, supporting Panasonic’s Service Centres with escalation support and product training.
  • Analyse support trends and incident data to identify recurring issues, maintain and continuously improve the Knowledge Base & FAQs to reduce incoming case volume, improve self-help and reduce warranty costs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve product knowledge, performance and support processes through collaboration & training.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance customer service and satisfaction
  • Stay up to date with new products and technologies
  • Manage technical and quality escalations with Panasonic Factories and Domains

 

The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most to the role:

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient approach
  • Ability to explain technical information in simple terms
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Trade or technical qualification preferred; a formal technical qualification will be highly regarded.​
  • 5 Years minimum experience in a technical or product support role within consumer electronics, with understanding of warranty management and service systems.​
  • Proven analytical and reporting skills, with attention to detail in process evaluation and improvement.​
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, both technical and customer-facing.​
  • Ability and experience in training and developing others, particularly in complex technical scenarios.​
  • Strong teamwork ethos, willingness to share knowledge, and a proactive, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.​
  • High integrity, accountability, and a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.​
  • Commitment to compliance and safety, with a keen focus on quality standards and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in a warranty management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
