Join a collaborative marketing team where you will contribute to the planning and delivery of our LUMIX creative events, the coordination and management of product gear, and the execution of marketing communications activities. Supporting both LUMIX Marketing Communications and Product Marketing teams, this role is responsible for the coordination and execution of events, assisting in marketing initiatives and product management activities that support sales and marketing objectives. You will work closely with internal teams including sales, planning, factories, external stakeholders such as agencies and creators, and LUMIX customers, taking responsibility for key activities such as campaign support, asset coordination, and communications delivery. The position offers the opportunity to build a strong understanding of the end-to-end marketing and sales process.
This position is a fixed term contract providing parental relief cover. The role requires regular attendance at events, including occasional interstate travel.
The key responsibilities we would trust you with:
- Coordinate and support the planning and delivery of LUMIX events, including working and booking creators, venue and F&B partners, managing logistics to ensure smooth execution.
- Own and manage LUMIX event inventory and equipment readiness, ensuring all gear, assets, and supporting materials are maintained, tracked, and fully prepared for events (including interstate activations).
- Assist in the development and rollout of marketing communications, including advertising and promotional activity aligned to business and channel strategies.
- Support product lifecycle activities across LUMIX, working closely with marketing, sales, planning, and factory teams.
- Manage and track key marketing processes, including advertising & promotional budgets, invoice administration and budget management, pricing approvals, and other administrative tasks.
- Conduct market and in-store reviews to support merchandising standards and promotional effectiveness, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most to the role:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing (or equivalent), with experience in product marketing, event coordination, or analytics advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage events, inventory, and multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Strong Excel skills with exposure to forecasting, PSI, or business planning highly regarded.
- A motivated, enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for delivering successful outcomes.
